It also notes that Greenberg Traurig recently expanded its digital infrastructure team with the addition of Schlichtmann-Prince as a shareholder in the firm's Washington, D.C., and Miami offices.
Forman emphasized the firm's significant presence in the sector, stating, “We are seeing a ton of activity in Florida, probably more than any other firm in the space, but also nationally. There is not a major data center development that we're not either in or around the transaction.”
Schlichtmann-Prince highlighted the growing importance of digital infrastructure, noting that “People think of data centers as only these massive sites, but they come in all sizes, and the driver is only going to increase as technology improves and as connectivity spreads out into more and more parts of the world, increasingly rural parts of the world. It will continue to expand not only for entertainment, but for banking, for schools, for government interactions.”
