Ansell Fernandez is a member of the Private Wealth Services Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, where he advises clients on a broad range of international and domestic tax, trust, and estate planning matters. He focuses his practice on representing high-net-worth individuals, multinational families, closely held businesses, and fiduciaries in complex cross-border tax planning, compliance, and wealth transfer strategies.

Ansell counsels clients on U.S. federal income, gift, and estate tax matters, including those involving real estate investments, business ventures, and expatriation planning. He regularly advises U.S. individuals and businesses on outbound tax planning issues. He also represents foreign clients investing in the United States on a wide range of inbound tax matters, including pre-immigration tax planning, corporate restructurings, portfolio debt planning, and U.S. real property investments.

In addition to his transactional work, Ansell represents clients in federal tax controversy matters, including IRS penalty appeals, streamlined filing compliance procedures, and Delinquent FBAR Submission Procedures. He also provides ongoing counsel to individual and corporate fiduciaries on trust and estate administration, including post-mortem tax planning and probate-related issues.
