Melissa Paige Prusock focuses her practice on litigation, counseling, and investigations related to government contracts and grants. Melissa advises clients on a variety of matters involving government contracting and federal programs, including audits and investigations, suspension and debarment, claims and disputes, and bid protests. She regularly represents clients in suspension and debarment proceedings, and counsels targets of investigations pursued by the Department of Justice and various offices of Inspectors General, including those of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Small Business Administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Defense, and the General Services Administration. Melissa provides strategic advice to federal award recipients, including state, territorial, and local governments, on compliance with the Uniform Guidance and other requirements associated with the expenditure of federal funds. She also represents clients in bid protests before the Government Accountability Office, as well as in government contracts and related litigation in various federal courts.
