2022 New England IRS Representation Conference

San Francisco co-managing shareholder G. Michelle Ferreira will be speaking at the 2022 New England IRS Representation Conference taking place on November 17 - 18, 2022. The conference features panels with private practitioners and government employees from the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Justice Tax Division covering a myriad of hot topics that practitioners need to be familiar with when representing clients before the IRS. Ferreira will be presenting a session titled, "From the Frying Pan and Into the Fire: Handling Audits Under the New Centralized Partnership Audit Regime" on November 18. The panel will discuss the new regime governing partnership and pass-through audits and the complexities of transition between TEFRA and the new rules. The panel will also suggest ways to prepare for and effectively manage a partnership audit under the new rules.
