Michelle Ferreira will participate as a panelist in the Civil Workshop titled "Nuts and Bolts of Tax Controversy Practice" from 2:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.
The workshop will provide insight on discovery tools in tax controversy cases, including contention interrogatories, subpoenas, depositions, and asserting privileges. Attendees will also learn best practices for discovery motions and hearings and gain insight on trial procedures in Tax Court, including witness testimony, asserting privileges, contempt powers, and interlocutory appeals.
