2024 New England IRS Representation Conference

GT Tax Practice Shareholders G. Michelle Ferreira and Barbara T. Kaplan will speak at the 2024 New England IRS Representation Conference. Michelle will moderate the “Enforcement Trends: What’s Hot and What’s Not” panel, discussing the ever-changing landscape of tax enforcement, as well as how it relates to collection, criminal investigations, and examinations. Barbara will speak on a panel titled “High Net Worth Taxpayer Audits: The Tax Man Cometh.” This panel will cover issues surrounding IRS examinations of high net worth individuals and their businesses. Kaplan will discuss topics such as high income non-filers and reasonable compensation, among others.
