IAGA's 43rd Annual International Gaming Summit

The International Association of Gaming Advisors' (IAGA) annual conference brings together leading voices from across the gaming industry to discuss the legal, regulatory, and business issues shaping the future of gaming worldwide. Greenberg Traurig is proud to sponsor this year’s event, with shareholders Reena Bajowala and Steven Bainbridge participating in two timely discussions exploring the intersection of technology, regulation, media, and gaming.

Reena Bajowala will moderate on “Ethics of AI: Legal Perspectives and Best Practices in Gaming,” a panel exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming the gambling sector and the ethical and regulatory considerations accompanying its adoption. The discussion will cover responsible AI implementation, customer and fan engagement strategies, evolving best practices for gaming companies and advisors, and emerging legislation such as the EU AI Act, with insights into compliance, marketing, product design, and responsible gambling.

Steven Bainbridge will participate in “Convergence and Compliance: Navigating the Blurring Lines of Gambling, Media, and Sports,” a panel examining the increasing convergence of betting, streaming, social media, video games, influencers, and sports entertainment. Panelists will discuss how platforms, affiliates, and payment providers shape licensed markets, as well as the growing compliance challenges created by evolving EU regulations, including the AI Act, Digital Services Act, and European Accessibility Act.
