Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to support many meaningful initiatives across business, civic, and philanthropic communities. Few have stayed with me in the same way as the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Chicago Select Golf Invitational.
This year, I’m honored once again to serve on the executive committee for an event that’s become one of Chicago’s long-lasting philanthropic traditions and one of the country’s most respected charity golf outings.
For me this work is personal.
My mother is a cancer survivor.
Raising money for the American Cancer Society matters deeply to my family because we’ve lived the reality of what a cancer diagnosis does to a home. My mother is a survivor, and during those first uncertain days we saw firsthand how ACS steps in with real, practical support. They offered resources that calm fear, guidance that helps families make decisions, and a community that reminds you you’re not alone. Their work didn’t just help her fight; it helped us stay steady, informed, and hopeful. Supporting ACS is our way of honoring her strength and ensuring that every newly diagnosed family gets the same lifeline we did.
