Greenberg Traurig's David I. Miller to Speak at Practising Law Institute 2022 Expert Witness Program

NEW YORK – May 20, 2022 David I. Miller, a White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the Practising Law Institute’s (PLI) 2022 Expert Witness Program taking place May 26 at 1 p.m.. 

Miller will speak at the in-person and virtual PLI program on the topic “Expert Challenges and Use of Experts at Trial.” He will discuss when and how to use pre-trial challenges, laying the foundation of direct examination, and tips and strategies for cross-examination.

An experienced trial lawyer, former federal prosecutor, and Chambers USA-ranked white collar litigator, Miller focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense, government and internal investigations, securities and commodities enforcement, related complex civil litigation, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, anti-money laundering, and national security matters. Previously, he served for five years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York (S.D.N.Y.), over half that time as a member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force. Miller also served as a terrorism prosecutor with the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, as an assistant general counsel for the Central Intelligence Agency, and as a white collar, securities, and commercial litigation attorney in private practice.
