Michael Hogue was quoted in a Law360 Real Estate Authority article titled “Affordable Housing Push Persists Despite Elevated Costs,” which examined how construction cost pressures and emerging technologies like smart contracts, robotics, and other AI-enhanced products and systems are affecting affordable housing development.
Hogue noted that innovation may help improve project economics, saying: “I’m optimistic, cautiously optimistic, that over the next two to three years, a lot of this technology integration will significantly reduce — I’m going to call them inefficiencies of construction — and by removing those inefficiencies, you can make affordable housing on margins much easier to accomplish.”
