Jason Drouyor handles regulatory, compliance, and litigation matters for clients in the transportation and logistics industries. Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Jason spent nearly four years as director of regulatory affairs for a global ocean carrier, where he managed litigation risk, led compliance investigations, and designed contract review processes to align business operations with federal commercial regulations. He also conducted risk assessments and global monitoring programs to evaluate compliance controls and identify emerging risks under international regulatory frameworks. His background spans both in-house and law firm environments, combining the fast-paced, business-driven mindset of in-house practice with precision, rigor, and attention to detail characteristic of private law firm work.

Earlier in his career, Jason externed for Chief Justice Hines of the Georgia Supreme Court. He subsequently transitioned into private practice as a litigation associate defending insurance companies and their insureds against tort claims, bad faith and coverage suits, and general liability matters, with a focus on heavily regulated industries. He also represented clients in commercial transportation litigation involving cargo damage, casualty, freight charge disputes, and collection actions. Jason has experience advising on commercial practices to manage risk and liability, and representing clients through all stages of litigation, including mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Jason previously served as an executive board member of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Freight Logistics Optimization Works initiative.
