Arda advises businesses on navigating complex domestic and international privacy laws, supporting clients in all aspects of privacy program design, implementation, and maintenance. In addition to regulatory compliance counseling, he dedicates a significant portion of his practice to identifying and mitigating private litigation risk associated with online tracking, artificial intelligence, and other technologies.

To that end, Arda closely monitors emerging privacy enforcement and litigation trends, including evolving theories of liability, case law developments, plaintiffs' firm strategies, and litigation and settlement outcomes. He also maintains a deep understanding of the technologies that frequently give rise to privacy claims, including analytics- and targeted advertising-related trackers like cookies, pixels, and SDKs.

By combining insights from the enforcement and private litigation landscapes with technical analysis of the underlying issues, Arda provides practical guidance that balances legal risk against business objectives and operational realities.

Before transitioning his practice to privacy and technology-related matters, Arda was an appellate litigator representing clients in a wide variety of civil and criminal appeals.

Arda is certified as an information privacy professional and information privacy manager by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (CIPP/US, CIPM).
