Kate’s practice focuses on the construction aspects of real estate development and investment work and real estate finance across a broad range of sub-sectors of the real estate market. Kate has more than 20 years of experience providing advice to leading clients including owners, developers, private equity investors, joint ventures and funders. Kate’s practice includes managing the interrelationship between construction, real estate, corporate and finance documents, advising on procurement, drafting and negotiating all construction documentation on development projects, drafting and negotiating the construction aspects of real estate and real estate finance documents and carrying out detailed construction due diligence for funders and purchasers of high value real estate assets.

- Advised the UK Housing Platform Fund, advised by Waypoint Asset Management, on its GBP 1.1 billion ‘take private’ of The PRS REIT plc.
- Advised Paloma Capital on the sale of 20 industrial estates for £194 million to Golden Tree.
- Advised PLP on the circa £168 million sale of a four-asset logistics portfolio to KKR and Mirastar.
- Advised a joint venture between Anglesea Capital and partner on the joint venture, corporate acquisition and development financing of a mixed-use portfolio at Chineham Business Park, Basingstoke
- Advised Anglesea Capital on the establishment of a JV with Goldman Sachs as well as related sale of three sites targeted for subsequent redevelopment.
- Advised Anglesea Capital on the establishment of a JV with a global investment manager in connection with the £90m corporate acquisition of an office and logistics park in Chineham.
