Yusuf is an Associate in the Corporate Practice, based in London and working with the New York Corporate team. He focuses his practice on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, advising private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, and public and private corporates on share and asset acquisitions and disposals, corporate carve-outs and divestitures, joint ventures and strategic investments, recapitalisations and corporate restructurings, and the regulatory and governance issues arising from those transactions.
He regularly works as part of multidisciplinary, cross-border deal teams and has advised a range of institutions, including central banks, development finance institutions, investment institutions for sovereign wealth funds, established market players, and innovative new market entrants.
Yusuf’s earlier practice covered asset finance, derivatives, and structured products and securitisations, and he continues to draw on that background when structuring and financing corporate transactions.
