Rushton Pope is a member of the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Atlanta office. Her practice spans a broad range of complex disputes, including trade secret misappropriation, trademark infringement, white collar defense and government investigations, class actions, employment matters, and breach of contract actions.

Prior to joining the firm, Rushton completed both an externship and an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia as well as a judicial externship at the Georgia Court of Appeals.

  • Obtained over $100 million in validated bonds for title on behalf of a manufacturer and distributor.
  • Defended hotel management company in class action litigation involving FLSA overtime negotiations, resulting in dismissal of all claims with prejudice.
  • Represented state agency in whistleblower action by a former employee, negotiating a settlement for a fraction of the alleged damages following extensive discovery.
  • Defended a state agency executive in a discrimination and retaliation action, obtaining full dismissal with prejudice of all claims.
  • Represented a global human resource contracting company in breach of contract actions, resulting in multiple final judgments and attorneys’ fee awards in favor of the client.
  • Represented a juvenile from Republic of Guinea in immigration proceedings, obtaining legal dependency and special immigrant juvenile status for the client.
  • Led professional development training sessions for survivors of human trafficking as part of career readiness program.
