NEW YORK – August 11, 2017 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP will be honored at The American Lawyer’s Global Legal Awards on Sept. 25 in New York City. The firm was recognized under the category Global Finance Deal of the Year: Insolvency and Restructuring (U.S.) for its work in representing Roust Corporation. It is one of the very few complex cross-border financial restructurings, involving U.S. Chapter 11 proceedings, affecting Polish entities.

Greenberg Traurig acted as Polish legal counsel to Roust Corporation and its affiliates, including Polish subsidiaries CEDC International and PWW, in a cross-border financial restructuring in connection with Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S. The transaction included the refinancing of the existing notes and the issuance of new notes. Roust Corporation and its affiliates comprise one of the largest vodka and other alcoholic beverages producers and distributors.
