Greenberg Traurig advises BEOS on the acquisition from Cilon of a corporate real estate portfolio with 70,000 square meters of rental space

Greenberg Traurig advised asset manager and project developer BEOS AG on the acquisition of eight corporate properties in Germany. The purchase was made for the open-ended real estate special AIF "BEOS Light Industrial Germany I". The seller is the project developer Cilon. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

The portfolio comprises a total of 70,000 square meters of rental space and 110,000 square meters of land. It is almost fully let to around 50 companies from a wide range of sectors, including the automotive industry, logistics, and the public sector. Five of the eight properties are located in the Rhine-Main area, two in Sindelfingen, and one in Kassel. Cilon acquired and revitalized the properties from 2018 to 2021.

Greenberg Traurig provided comprehensive advice to BEOS on all legal aspects of the transaction.

Background: BEOS is a long-standing client of the firm.
