Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Jéan E. Wilson Elected a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel

ORLANDO – Sept. 16, 2022 – Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Jéan E. Wilson, chair of the firm’s Orlando and Atlanta Public Finance Practices, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.

Wilson is one of 13 public finance attorneys recognized by the College as part of the Fellows Class of 2022. The College, formed in 1995, recognizes attorneys who have established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience, and understanding of public finance law as well as their high standards for professional ethical conduct in their practice.

“It is fitting that Jean’s professionalism, experience in the public finance arena, and dedication to his clients be recognized with this honor, which places him among the leading public finance attorneys in the United States,” said Warren S. Bloom and Franklin D.R. Jones Jr., co-chairs of the firm’s National Public Finance Practice.

Wilson, who is also the managing shareholder of the Orlando office, has served as bond counsel, disclosure counsel or issuer's counsel on bond issues for numerous clients including local, regional, and state agencies and municipalities in Florida and Georgia.

“This recognition is significant because it comes from Jean’s peers,” said Ernest LaMont Greer, co-president of Greenberg Traurig. “To be part of the Fellows Class of 2022, Jean has the requisite experience and skill set to shine among this group.”

The 2022 Fellows will be recognized at its annual dinner on Oct. 11.
