Greenberg Traurig advised GTC on securing EUR 84 million refinancing for Galeria Północna shopping center in Warsaw

WARSAW – 3 September 2025 – Greenberg Traurig advised a GTC S.A. on securing a EUR 84 million refinancing for Galeria Północna, a landmark retail destination in Warsaw, Poland.

The five-year facility provided by J&T BANKA will strengthen GTC’s liquidity and support the acquisition of the non-controlling interests in its German residential portfolio.

Opened in 2017 and spanning 64,000 sqm, Galeria Północna offers shopping, services and leisure attractions located within the mall, including Poland’s first rooftop garden and a brine graduation tower.

The Greenberg Traurig financing team was led by Partner Piotr Nerwiński who was supported by Senior Associate Iga Czerniak and Junior Associate Weronika Kopeć.
