Radomił Charzyński is the Deputy Managing Partner in the Warsaw Office of Greenberg Traurig. He focuses his practice on real estate law and is admitted to the bar in Poland and Germany. He advises developers, funds and banks on structuring, joint venture and development projects, asset acquisitions, and property financing.

Experience

  • Represented Merity Funds, a sister company of Trigea Real Estate Fund specialized in development projects, in the acquisition of a real estate property located in Gliwice. The development will consist of two buildings with a total GLA of approx. 60,000 sq. m on approx. 12 hectares of land.
  • Represented Madison International Realty, the majority shareholder of Capital Park S.A., in the sale of certain assets of the group as part of a management buy-out co-financed by Europi Property Group, Capital Park’s minority shareholder.
  • Represented Echo Investment in connection with the sale of My Place II (Moje Miejsce II) office complex in Warsaw to Trigea Real Estate Fund. The transaction value was EUR 45 million.
  • Represented Trigea Nemovitostni Fond, Sicav, A.S. in the acquisition of a warehouse park located in Wrocław with a total lease area of 38,178 sq. m.
  • Advised global real assets investment manager CBRE Investment Management (CBREIM) throughout the year on closing in stages on some 49 premium logistics assets across Europe and the United States. In Europe, it is one of the largest real estate transactions executed in 2022.
  • Represented Generali Real Estate in the acquisition of undeveloped plots located in Skawina near Kraków.
  • Represented Trigea Nemovitostni Fond, Sicav, A.S. in the acquisition of a logistics park with a total lease area of 46,000 sq. m, located near Tricity, over 20 km from the airport and 8 km from the Port of Gdynia.
  • Represented JV Partners, including 7R, MFC Real Estate and DIL Polska Baumanagement in connection with the sale of 7R CITY FLEX WARSAW AIRPORT I, a complex of warehouse buildings with a total warehouse space (GLA) of 15,900 sq. m, located in Warsaw.
  • Represented Echo Investment in connection with the sale of MidPoint 71, an office building located in Wrocław, to Trigea Real Estate Fund. The value of the transaction exceeded EUR 100 million.
  • Represented Eastnine AB, a Swedish real estate company, in the acquisition of the Nowy Rynek D office property in Poznań from Skanska. The value of the transaction was EUR 121 million.
  • Represented Capital Park S.A. in the acquisition of a unique real property with a rich history, consisting of two plots of land in Gdańsk with a total area of 1.3 hectares, situated at the confluence of the Motława River and the Martwa Wisła, on the so-called Polish Hook (Polski Hak) and in the joint venture transaction regarding the acquisition.
  • Represented HANSAINVEST Real Assets in connection with the acquisition of Generation Park Y, the last building of the Generation Park office complex in Warsaw.
  • Represented CA IMMO in connection with the sale of all shares in the company holding the Wspólna 47-49 office building located in Śródmieście, the central district of Warsaw, to the French group Yareal.
  • Represented HANSAINVEST Real Assets in connection with the acquisition of a logistics portfolio located in Poland, developed by a premium logistics partner.
  • Represented Union Investment in connection with the acquisition of two hotel properties in Katowice and Kraków.
  • Represented EQT Exeter’s affiliate, the real estate division of EQT Group AB, in connection with the acquisition of a Polish logistics portfolio.
  • Represented Capital Park in connection with the sale of a property to be developed with a residential and commercial project to Marvipol Development.
  • Represented Indotek in connection with the acquisition of an office portfolio, consisting of 4 office buildings located in Warsaw, from Immofinanz.
  • Represented Madison International Realty on a transaction involving the acquisition of shares in the SPV holding Chmielna 89 office building in Warsaw.
  • Represented Deka Immobilien on the acquisition of the Generation Park Z office building located in the Wola business district of Warsaw.
  • Represented CP Retail BV, a Capital Park Group subsidiary, in the sale of shares in Dakota Investments sp. z o.o., the owner of Eurocentrum Office Complex in Warsaw.
  • Represented Madison International Realty and Ghelamco in the sale of the entire Warsaw Spire A office building. The value of the transaction was EUR 386 million.
  • Represented Madison International Realty , a global real estate private equity firm, in connection with the indirect acquisition of a majority stake in Capital Park S.A.
  • Represented Madison International Realty on the acquisition of 46,5% shares in European Logistics Investment, owner of a Polish logistic properties portfolio, from Redefine Properties Limited.
  • Represented Generali Real Estate in connection with the acquisition of an office building located at Senatorska 18 in Warsaw from S+B Gruppe.
  • Represented KGAL Investment Management in connection with the acquisition of Spark C, a 10-story office building located in Warsaw at Wola district.
  • Represented Cromwell in connection with the acquisition of office buildings portfolio in Poland, Netherlands and Finland.
  • Represented Exeter Property Group on the acquisition of two logistics projects in Czeladź and Kalisz from Panattoni.
  • Represented Exeter Property Group in the acquisition of a logistic park in Stryków from PZU SA.
  • Represented Exeter Property Group in the acquisition of a logistic park in Radom from a private investor.
  • Represented Union Investment on the preliminary purchase agreement regarding the acquisition of two planned hotel properties in Katowice (Hotel Mercure) and Kraków (Hotel ibis Styles).
  • Represented Union Investment in connection with a forward sale and lease back of a hotel operated by Holiday Inn and located at Gdansk’s historic Granary Island.
  • Represented Union Investment on the acquisition of a multiplex cinema operating under the Cinema City brand and located on the same site as the Manufaktura shopping center in Łódź.
  • Represented Ghelamco on the sale of all shares in the company owning the Wronia 31 office building in Warsaw.
  • Represented CA Immo in connection with the acquisition of Warsaw Spire Building C for ca. EUR 100 million.
  • Represented Fabryka PZO sp. z o.o, a subsidiary of Soho Development S.A., in connection with the sale of a property in Warsaw comprising over 10,000 sq. m.
  • Represented Madison International Realty in connection with the acquisition of 50% of the Warsaw Spire A office building and a joint-venture agreement with Ghelamco Group.
  • Represented SOHO Development, a Polish stock exchange-listed company, in the sale of a development property of over 53,000 sq. m within the post-industrial Soho Factory complex in Praga-Południe, Warsaw.
  • Represented Hansainvest Real Assets in connection with the acquisition of Generation Park X - the first building in the Generation Park complex, a project consisting of three high-quality office buildings located in Warsaw.
  • Represented CA Immo in connection with the acquisition of all shares and all rights and obligations of the general partner of Warsaw Spire sp. z o.o. Pl. Europejski 6 S.K.A., a company holding two buildings within the Warsaw Spire office complex: Warsaw Spire B and the Genesis restaurant building.
  • Represented Hansainvest Hanseatische Investment in connection with the acquisition of Atrium 2, an A class office building located in the center of Warsaw.

  • Represented Tristan Capital Partners in connection with the acquisition of a real estate portfolio consisting of five shopping malls located in Gliwice, Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław and Szczecin from Charter Hall Retail REIT, and on financing the acquisition.°
  • Represented Blackstone in connection with a potential acquisition of a shopping mall in Southern Poland.°
  • Represented Unibail-Rodamco in connection with the acquisition of land and the development of a shopping mall in Wrocław.°
  • Represented Allianz Real Estate in connection with the acquisition of the Warsaw Financial Center (WFC), one of the highest quality office assets in Poland.°
  • Represented Avestus Real Estate (formerly Quinlan Private Golub) in connection with the sale of Hala Koszyki, a historical property in Warsaw.°
  • Represented First Property in connection with the acquisition of the Panorama shopping center in Krasnystaw.°
  • Represented GE Capital Real Estate Europe in connection with the transfer of a seed portfolio consisting of nine shopping malls in Poland and a EUR 324 million loan facility granted by Eurohypo AG and ING NV to finance the transfer of the seed portfolio.°
  • Represented PPP Venture sp. z o.o. (part of the French group Bouygues), as the project company, in the tender for and the financing of the refurbishment of Jagiellonian University Collegium Medicum student dormitories in a PPP deal. This was the first PPP project in Poland involving a public university and also the first such venture in the public building sector.°
  • Represented Valad Polska in the refinancing of Valad’s retail portfolio in Poland consisting of nine shopping malls.°
  • Represented Madison International Realty in connection with the development of the Weber factory in Zabrze.
  • Represented a fund managed by LaSalle Investment in connection with the development of a logistic park in Wrocław in connection with Panattoni Development Europe.
  • Represented Unibail–Rodamco in connection with development and construction of the Wrocławia shopping mall in Wroclaw.
  • Represented GE Real Estate in a joint venture with Unibail-Rodamco concerning the EUR 230 million extension of a shopping mall in Warsaw.°
  • Represented GE Real Estate in connection with the EUR 80 million extension of a shopping mall in Janki near Warsaw.°
  • Represented a consortium led by Boskalis International in connection with the PLN 1 billion construction of a breakwater within the Gazoport project in Świnoujście, Poland.°
  • Represented HB Reavis in the development of the new Warszawa Zachodnia railway station and an adjacent office and business center which will comprise eight office buildings.°
  • Represented TriGranit Development Polska in connection witha retail investment in Poznań comprising a new railway station and two shopping malls, including joint venture agreements with Europa Capital and Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A. (Polish Railway).°
  • Represented Avestus Real Estate (formerly Quinlan Private Golub) in a number of development projects in Poland, including Hala Koszyki, Enterprise Center and Forum Gliwice.°
  • Represented Clairmont Global, a European joint venture between Metlife Insurance and Hanover Company in the development and construction of Browarpark, a multipurpose (residential, office and commercial) investment in Wrocław.°
  • Represented Clairmont Global in the development of a residential project in Kraków.°
  • Represented ECE Projectmanagement Polska in the development and construction of the Galeria Kaskada shopping mall and office building in Szczecin, including the acquisition agreement, the privatization procedure relating to the enterprise of Odra S.A. and a joint venture with the City of Szczecin.°
  • Represented ECE Projectmanagement Polska in the development and construction of the Galeria Bałtycka shopping mall in Gdańsk.°
