Profile
Darci Ferrer brings extensive regulatory and scientific expertise spanning industrial, institutional, and consumer products, including pesticides, cleaning products, and fragrance materials. Her practice encompasses both US and international regulatory frameworks, advising clients on product compliance, risk assessment, and market access strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
In the United States, Darci provides consulting support on the Federal Insecticide Fungicide Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and state-level chemical management and ingredient communication regulations. She manages US pesticide registrations, assists clients in identifying clear pathways to registration, and supports the development of registration applications. She also works with coalitions and task forces to develop data strategies for active ingredients undergoing registration review.
Darci's scientific experience includes environmental exposure assessment, where she applies her knowledge to evaluate how chemicals interact with and move through environmental systems in support of regulatory submissions and risk evaluations. Beyond data review and analysis, Darci actively places and monitors studies conducted under both U.S. EPA and OECD guidelines, ensuring that data generated meets the rigorous standards required by regulators.
Darci's experience extends to European Union regulatory frameworks under which she has reviewed existing data to determine suitability under the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) and the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation, as well as coordinating dossier-supporting task forces.
Previously, Darci held senior positions at prominent trade associations. As Chief Scientist for a leading fragrance industry association, she directed regulatory analysis and advocacy across the United States and Canada, engaging directly with regulators and industry responses to regulatory proposals.
