WARSAW- April 24, 2019 - Attorneys from the Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Union Investment on the acquisition of a multiplex cinema operating under the Cinema City brand from a Cineworld Group company. The cinema is located on the same site as the Manufaktura shopping center in Łódź.
The Greenberg Traurig team was led by two partners, Radomił Charzyński and Karol Brzoskowski, assisted by Filip Janeczko (Associate) and Samanta Wenda-Uszyńska (Associate).

The Cinema City brand belongs to Cineworld Group, one of the world’s largest multiplex cinema operators. Manufaktura in Łódź is unique in Europe, the project revitalized 19th century buildings of a former textile mill owned by Izrael Poznański, a local textile industry tycoon. The landmark buildings now house one of Poland’s largest shopping centers, surrounded by modern urban space.
