BERLIN – April 17, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig advised Kauri CAB Digital Infrastructure GmbH (KCDI) on the acquisition of an approximately 55,000 square meters data center development site in Hochheim am Main. The transaction was structured as an asset deal.

KCDI is a specialized data center development platform focused on the Frankfurt/Rhine Main region. The company identifies, acquires, and develops hyperscale and artificial intelligence ready data center sites in Europe’s key digital infrastructure markets.

The acquired site is in the Frankfurt/Rhine Main metropolitan region — Europe’s largest data center market and home to DE CIX, the world’s leading internet exchange. The location provides access to high voltage power infrastructure with capacity of up to 90 megavolt-amperes, as well as a supportive municipal planning environment. The acquisition represents a further building block in the establishment of an institutional data center development pipeline in the Rhine Main region. Locations in the Frankfurt area are becoming increasingly important due to limited site availability and extended permitting timelines.

Greenberg Traurig advised KCDI on the structuring and execution of the asset deal for the development site, including negotiation of the acquisition documentation, real estate due diligence, and transaction support throughout signing and closing. The scope of advice also covered grid connection and power supply aspects, as well as select energy law matters.
