Andrew Z. Smith has experience in numerous areas of litigation, including: complex commercial litigation and business disputes, products liability and insurance coverage litigation. His experience extends to both state and federal courts and includes representing pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers in product liability cases. Andrew also maintains a pro bono practice and serves in various leadership roles both inside and outside of the firm.

  • Advised a LGBT homeless youth shelter regarding labor and employment issues.
  • Defended pharmaceutical and medical device company in mass tort litigation.
  • Represented school system against retaliation claim brought by former employee under the whistleblower statute. After two-week trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict.
  • Represented real estate developer in breach of contract action seeking unpaid rent, utilities, and attorneys’ fees.
  • Obtained settlement in complex contract and business dispute for a logistics company.
