Greenberg Traurig’s Kelly Dobbs Bunting to Speak at ABA Labor and Employment Law Conference

SEATTLE – Nov. 9, 2023 – Kelly Dobbs Bunting, co-chair of the Labor & Employment Practice Workplace Compliance & Counseling Group of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at the American Bar Association (ABA)’s 17th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference taking place Nov. 8-11 in Seattle. The conference is the ABA Labor and Employment Section’s signature event.

Bunting’s panel, titled “The Inclusive Workplace: Global Diversity Policies and Beyond,” will take place Nov. 11 at 8 a.m. The panel will discuss creating and maintaining workplace policies for both multistate employers and those with overseas locations. The panel will also discuss creating and implementing diversity and inclusion policies supporting LGBTQ+ employees globally and the importance of protecting and promoting a diverse workforce.

Bunting is a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Philadelphia office. She litigates federal and state class and collective actions alleging wage and hour violations, misclassification, overtime, minimum wage, and off-the-clock work. Bunting also defends employers around the country in single-plaintiff litigation involving gender, age, disability, race, national origin, religious, and pregnancy discrimination; harassment and retaliation; whistleblower claims; theft of trade secrets; breach of duty; breach of employment agreements; and restrictive covenants. Bunting has been listed in The Legal 500 United States for Labor and Employment - Workplace and Employment Counseling and she is listed in Who's Who Legal for "Labour, Employment & Benefits: Labour & Employment." She was recently named a fellow in The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers and currently serves as management co-chair of the ABA’s Labor & Employment Section’s International Labor and Employment Law Committee.
