Greenberg Traurig’s Hospitality Group advises developers, owners, and operators of hotel, resort, and club properties, as well as governments, private government corporations, governmental and private financial institutions, and financial consultants, on virtually all aspects of their involvement in the hospitality industry globally. Our skilled hospitality team within our global Real Estate Practice includes attorneys who have pioneered major developments within the industry.

Our multidisciplinary team brings corporate, real estate, tax, government, and environmental attorneys and professionals together who are industry-experienced in the development and financing of diverse forms of recreational property. Greenberg Traurig leverages its global platform to provide strategic legal counsel to established women and diverse hotel owners and operators. To provide additional support, Greenberg Traurig works with like-minded organizations including She Has a Deal (SHaD) and Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association (BLLA) among others to connect women and diverse hotel owners and investors to attorneys, industry leaders, and other hospitality business professionals through this initiative, Hospitality and Equality Redefined through Empowerment (H.E.R.E.).

Industry Member Coordination

Through H.E.R.E., led by GT Shareholder Samantha Ahuja, GT supports the community of potential women and diverse hotel owners by breaking down barriers and providing access to the firm’s diverse and experienced lawyers. Drawing on some of the firms’ most robust industry groups, including Hospitality, Real Estate, Food & Beverage, and Intellectual Property members. H.E.R.E. provides a forum of information, access to best practices, and industry support from attorneys and professionals.
