Spenser Jaenichen focuses his practice on representing clients nationwide in complex commercial disputes and government investigations before both federal and state courts. He advises businesses across a variety of industries, including energy, retail, e-commerce, finance, insurance, hospitality, entertainment, and technology, guiding them through all phases of litigation, from initial strategy through trial and appeal.

Spenser has a wide range of experience representing clients in business disputes, class actions, consumer protection defense, false advertising, environmental counseling and litigation, privacy and financial disputes, insurance recovery, and white collar and fraud investigations. He has substantial experience preparing fact and expert witnesses for testimony, managing discovery and expert witness strategy, and briefing and arguing dispositive motions. He also works closely with clients to coordinate public relations initiatives that align with their broader litigation strategy.

In addition to his work for corporate clients, Spenser is committed to pro bono service. He represents plaintiffs in voting rights litigation and assists nonprofit organizations facing government investigations.

During law school, Spenser served as notes editor on the University of Illinois Journal of Law, Technology & Policy and represented veterans in the Veterans Legal Clinic as an Illinois Rule 7/11 Student Attorney. He participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition and taught legal writing and research to incoming LL.M. candidates as an adjunct instructor at the University of Illinois College of Law.
