Greenberg Traurig’s Diane N. Ibrahim Named Philadelphia Business Journal 2025 Woman of Influence

WILMINGTON, Del. – Aug. 12, 2025Diane N. Ibrahim, executive vice president of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, has been named a 2025 Women of Influence honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Honorees will be celebrated at an event Oct. 15 at Switch House in Fishtown.

The annual award recognizes leaders in the Greater Philadelphia area who have made significant contributions to their communities and the region’s business landscape, according to the publication. Ibrahim was selected from more than 200 nominees for her exceptional leadership and dedication to both the legal profession and her community.

Ibrahim has built a distinguished Delaware corporate law practice, leveraging her business acumen to structure, document, and negotiate complex transactions involving Delaware entities. For 20 years, Ibrahim has advised clients across a wide variety of industries regarding the formation and operation of Delaware corporations and alternative entities, including funds and joint ventures, equity offerings and purchases, mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions. She also counsels clients in connection with contests for control, business divorces, board and governance matters, and fiduciary duties. As a former member of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Committee on Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships, Ibrahim has directly helped draft, amend, and shape the very Delaware business laws that impact her clients.

Since stepping into the role as managing shareholder of the firm’s Delaware office in 2016, at which time she became the youngest attorney to lead the office, Ibrahim has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence in the state and strengthening the office’s capabilities through strategic initiatives. She also serves in a firm-wide role as executive vice president and helps oversee professional development for more than 800 associates globally. She plays an integral role in shaping programs that boost retention, foster equity, and elevate attorney performance through mentorship, advancement pathways, and a supportive firm culture.

In addition to her active law practice, Ibrahim is deeply committed to community service; she advocates for children and underserved populations, contributes to community health initiatives, and leads projects supporting local nonprofits. In 2024, she launched the “25 Days of Giving” campaign to mark the 25th anniversary of Greenberg Traurig’s Delaware office, rallying support for local organizations including the American Cancer Society Making Strides for Breast Cancer and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Delaware.
