Greenberg Traurig Advises Charlotte Hornets on State-of-the-Art NBA Performance Center

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Nov. 21, 2025 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented the Charlotte Hornets basketball team in the land acquisition and approvals, design, and financing of a premier NBA performance enhancement center in Charlotte. The project includes medical office and diagnostic space, retail space, and structured parking. The Greenberg Traurig team advised on all aspects of the transaction, which involved a $145.7 million secured credit facility provided by Truist and Bank of America, and is currently representing the team in all aspects of construction of the facility.

The project was led by Real Estate Practice Shareholders Andrea Austin and Kevin H. Kelley in Denver, with Corporate Practice Shareholder Charles C.
