Kara Bombach will moderate the “Sanctions Enforcement & Export Controls” plenary session at the 13th International White Collar Crime Institute hosted by the American Bar Association Criminal Justice Section on October 12–13, 2026, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in London.
The session will feature insights from economic sanctions regulators (UK/OFSI and US/OFAC) as well as counsel perspectives on compliance and enforcement challenges arising from geopolitical developments with Russia, Iran, Venezuela, narco-trafficking and Foreign Terrorist Organization designations, as well as including novel and emerging threats such as North Korean fraudulent remote worker schemes.
