HOUSTON – July 26, 2022 – Christopher L. Bell, a shareholder in the Environmental Practice of global law Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will present on “New DOJ Compliance Guidance: Incentives and Penalties, Cooperation Credits,” a 90-minute Strafford continuing legal education (CLE) webinar, July 28 at 1 p.m. EDT.
The panelists will discuss current U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) guidance on enforcement policies, including DOJ’s use of punishments and incentives to encourage proactive corporate compliance as well as how to properly resource compliance programs. Further, the panel will address how DOJ will consider a company’s civil, criminal, and regulatory history and what constitutes cooperation credit under the current administration.
