MIAMI – Nov. 29, 2022 – Greenberg Traurig Miami office Co-Managing Shareholder Yosbel A. Ibarra was appointed to the Adrienne Arsht Center Trust (AACT) board of directors. He will serve as AACT community representative director for a three-year term.
The AACT board has responsibilities for the center’s fiduciary, governance, planning, policy setting, leadership development, and advancement activities. Ibarra is one of six new members appointed to the board.
“The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County is an important community asset, and I am honored and delighted to be joining its board. I look forward to working with my fellow board members to support the center’s mission of providing extraordinary cultural and educational experiences for diverse audiences across Miami,” Ibarra said.
As co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, Ibarra oversees approximately 200 attorneys and 170 business staff members. A former co-chair of the firm’s Latin America Practice, he regularly advises multinational corporations and prominent Latin American investors on international corporate transactions, including investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures throughout Latin America and the United States.
Ibarra has been recognized by leading publications, such as The Legal 500 Latin America Guide, Chambers and Partners and The M&A Advisor, for his more than 20 years of experience representing clients on cross-border matters. He is vice chair of Amigos for Kids; a member of the Law360 Florida Editorial Advisory Board; an officer of the Law Firm Management Committee of the International Bar Association; vice chair of MCCJ (formerly the Miami Coalition of Christians and Jews); and a board member for the Council of the Americas.
