Tamie Humphreys is an associate in Private Wealth Services based in Greenberg Traurig’s San Diego office. She focuses on estate, income, gift, and generation-skipping tax planning. Tamie is devoted to helping individuals and families develop personalized estate plans with the goal of safeguarding their assets for themselves, their loved ones, future generations, and for their philanthropic endeavors.
Tamie’s practice also includes probate and trust administration, and conservatorships, and she assists executors, trustees, and conservators with their fiduciary duties and responsibilities, such as marshalling assets, preparing inventories and appraisals, preparing accountings, preparing preliminary and final distribution plans, and preparing necessary disclosures.
Tamie started her legal career in nonprofit law, helping indigent clients in Southern California gain access to the legal system to overcome barriers that perpetuate poverty. Tamie grew up in San Diego, and as a military spouse, has lived throughout the United States and Europe. Upon returning to San Diego, Tamie earned her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was recognized for her pro bono service.
