BOSTON – Feb. 2, 2022 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP Litigation Practice Associate Alison T. Holdway and U.S. Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal Jennifer Kobrenski have been selected by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as Excellence in Law honorees.
Holdway has been selected as an “Up & Coming Lawyer,” which recognizes attorneys who have been practicing and admitted to the Massachusetts Bar for 10 years or less yet have already distinguished themselves in the practice of law. Kobrenski has been selected in the category of “Excellence in Paralegal Work.” They will be honored for their contributions to the legal community at the annual Excellence in the Law event to be held at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston March 3.

Holdway represents clients in virtually all phases of litigation, from early-stage investigations through appeals. She has experience litigating False Claims Act, medical device products liability, patent infringement, breach of contract, unfair or deceptive business practices, and general commercial cases. Holdway also has experience defending clients in white collar matters, including Department of Justice investigations, Securities and Exchange Commission investigations, state prosecutions, and internal investigations. In addition, she has deep legal writing experience and has drafted complex pleadings, motions, memoranda, and appellate briefs.
Kobrenski has more than 11 years of experience as an IP paralegal in the firm’s Boston office. She files and prosecutes complex U.S. patent applications, handles docketing, interfaces with clients regarding patent office developments with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), and handles all aspects of administration regarding USPTO activities.
