MIAMI – May 21, 2025 – Greenberg Traurig, P.A.Litigation Shareholder Alan T. Dimond and his wife, Vivian, were recognized by Mosaic Miami as 2025 Silver Medallion honorees during its 90th annual Humanitarian Dinner.
Mosaic Miami has recognized outstanding community leaders since 1946 with its Humanitarian Silver Medallion Award for their commitment to building Miami’s inclusive community, according to the organization’s website.
“Alan has an incredible ability to inspire those around him while making a meaningful difference. His dedication to improving the lives of others and driving positive change has had a lasting impact on our community and the legal profession,” said Yosbel A. Ibarra, co-managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office and chair of Mosaic Miami.
Dimond has held leadership roles in many community organizations, including chairing the Jackson Memorial Hospital Foundation and serving on the United Way and Baptist Health boards.
Dimond and his wife also have been recognized for their dedication to humanitarian causes by multiple organizations including the Coalition of South Florida Muslims, the Muslim Bar Association, and the American Jewish Committee. Most recently, Dimond was honored with the Daily Business Review’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the legal profession and broader South Florida community. He was also named a Power Leader in Corporate Philanthropy by the South Florida Business Journal.
As a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig’s Miami office, Dimond offers more than 50 years of “first chair” experience in commercial and real estate-related litigation. He also served as president of The Florida Bar from 1992-1993.
