SAN FRANCISCO – Nov. 9, 2022 – Anna Yeung, an associate in the San Francisco office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, was elected to the board of directors of the AIDS Legal Referral Panel (ALRP).
ALRP is the only institution in the San Francisco Bay Area providing free and low-cost legal services to persons living with HIV/AIDS. This includes a variety of practice areas, such as housing, bankruptcy/credit, immigration, employment, insurance, confidentiality matters, family law, government benefits, and public accommodations.
Yeung focuses her practice on products liability with an emphasis on the defense of complex pharmaceutical products and medical devices in single-plaintiff actions, coordinated proceedings and multidistrict litigations. She routinely handles matters from the pre-litigation stage through final disposition or resolution, securing favorable dispositive rulings, including numerous summary judgment wins, at trial and reaffirmed on appeal. Yeung also represents companies and individuals in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including industries in telecommunications, insurance, computer software, and semiconductors.
In addition to her litigation practice, Yeung also volunteers at the Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach and Asian American Bar Association monthly pro bono legal clinic in San Francisco, where she provides legal assistance to low-income Bay Area residents.
