WARSAW – 2 October 2026 – Greenberg Traurig advised the consortium of banks comprising Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and PKO Bank Polski S.A. in connection with the PLN 3.05 billion refinancing of refinancing of two combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) units in Gryfino developed by the PGE.

The loan will be used to refinance the project to construct and operate the two CCGT units, together with the associated infrastructure. The two units have a total capacity of 1.4 GW and were commissioned in 2024.

The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Partner Piotr Nerwiński, who was supported by Counsel Justyna Jamroży, responsible for the key finance documents, and Local Partner Paweł Długoborski, who led the negotiation of the hedging documentation, as well as Associate Aleksandra Grześkowiak and Junior Associate Maria Turos.

The energy and due diligence team involved in the transaction included Partner Konrad Kosicki, Senior Associates Rafał Kulpa and Tomasz Denko, Associate Marcin Gralewski and Junior Associate Jacek Kołacz.
