Global Immigration & Workforce Mobility
- Provide end-to-end guidance on global mobility and immigration strategies, including nonimmigrant work authorization, permanent residence, consular processing, and investment-related pathways, with options such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, E-2, EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5, and related classifications
- Provide white-glove support for executives, founders, and mission-critical personnel in sensitive and time-critical matters
- Manage consular strategy and complex adjudications, including travel and entry considerations

Compliance, Enforcement & Risk Management
- Design and implement Form I-9, E-Verify, and Labor Condition Application compliance programs
- Conduct internal audits, remediation, and process improvement to strengthen ongoing compliance
- Represent clients in matters involving the Department of Labor (DOL), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and other federal immigration and compliance authorities, including investigations and enforcement actions
- Provide guidance on regulatory risk mitigation, evolving enforcement trends, and compliance controls
- Advise on export controls, licensing requirements, and related employment considerations
Immigration Policy Development & Training
- Develop multi-year immigration and compliance strategies aligned with workforce and business objectives
- Monitor regulatory developments and provide practical policy analysis for business planning
- Deliver management and employee training on compliance obligations and evolving requirements
- Support administrative advocacy and legislative strategy involving the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of State (DOS), and other federal agencies and policymakers
Corporate Transactions and Workforce Integration
- Advise on immigration strategy for mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs, and reorganizations
- Perform immigration due diligence, risk assessment, and mitigation planning
- Support workforce continuity planning, including work authorization updates and required filings
- Align immigration planning with corporate, employment, and tax considerations across transactions
Tax-Efficient Workforce Structuring
- Structure compensation and mobility programs to leverage tax treaties and available benefits
- Advise on global equity and share plans, including tax, payroll, privacy, and employment considerations
- Coordinate with tax and employment teams on cross-border workforce matters
EB-5 Immigration & Investment
For more than two decades, Greenberg Traurig has served as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across the EB-5 ecosystem, guiding matters from program structuring and regulatory compliance through investor representation and project execution.
We advise Regional Centers, developers, investors, migration agents, private equity funds, financial institutions, and project sponsors on EB-5 matters involving real estate, infrastructure, hospitality, health care, and other capital-intensive industries. Greenberg Traurig has structured and supported some of the largest and most complex EB-5 offerings in the history of the program, advising on transactions involving billions of dollars in EB-5 investment.
