Kristopher Reichlen is a registered patent attorney experienced in patent application drafting and prosecution, as well as freedom to operate opinions for a broad array of software technologies including networking and wireless communications, computer programming, machine learning and artificial intelligence, audio-visual broadcasting and encoding-decoding, and autonomous driving for a variety of large high-tech companies, as well as for a broad array of mechanical technologies, including semiconductor fabrication, biomedical devices, home goods, and others. He argues appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal board regarding both patent eligibility and patentability, including rejections concerning abstract ideas.

Prior to practicing law, Kris was a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, where he focused on mechanical, electrical and optical technologies to achieve high quality claims for allowance and defended examination decisions on appeal regarding novelty and obviousness decisions.
