Clarissa A. Gomez Elected to New Jersey Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – July 26, 2022 – New Jersey Associate Clarissa A. Gomez of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP was elected to the board of directors for the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA), an independent bar association whose mission is to advance and retain women of all backgrounds in the legal profession. Gomez will serve as co-director of diversity.

In this role, Gomez will be responsible for promoting diversity and inclusion both within the association as well as in the legal profession. NJWLA’s diversity efforts are designed to promote acceptance and respect regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, or other ideologies, and to explore the issues that impact these various groups of people. NJWLA’s diversity committee’s goals for this year include an expansion and involvement in various diversity functions, and to continue the association’s strong and growing presence in the New Jersey legal community on all levels, from local to state events.

Several Greenberg Traurig attorneys have served on NJWLA’s board, including Past Presidents Wendy Johnson Lario and Galit Kierkut.
