Greenberg Traurig’s Rose Cordero Prey and Gregory S. Schwartz Recognized by WIPR

NEW YORK – June 6, 2025 – Rose Cordero Prey and Gregory S. Schwartz, shareholders at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, are recognized by World IP Review (WIPR) as one of the Most Influential Women in IP and as a Future Champion for 2025, respectively. According to WIPR’s website, the award celebrates “those who drive positive change in the IP community.”

Prey, vice chair of the firm’s Global Patent Litigation Group, represents clients in all aspects of the lifecycle of patent disputes from invention protection and portfolio development through defensive litigation, enforcement, and licensing. She is a first chair litigator with more than 20 years of experience in complex, cutting-edge intellectual property litigation. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement and related litigation involving a wide array of technologies in the mechanical, electrical, computer science, and life science industries.

Schwartz is a patent attorney and chemical engineer who works with a wide range of clients on their most challenging intellectual property issues. His practice focuses on high-stakes patent matters involving competitor activity, especially when those matters have visibility to executive leadership. His experience includes directly advising and presenting strategy to C-suite executives and board members of public and private companies on matters concerning freedom-to-operate, threatened patent litigation, and patent assertion and enforcement.
