PHILADELPHIA – March 27, 2023 –The Greenberg Traurig Women’s Initiative (GTWI) celebrated Women’s History Month with the women leaders of the Philadelphia 76ers. Participants included attorneys from the global law firm’s Philadelphia and Delaware offices, as well as area women business leaders.
White Collar Defense & Special Investigations Practice Shareholder Jessica Natali, co-liaison of the GTWI affinity group in Philadelphia, collaborated with the basketball organization on an event that included a private tour of the Wells Fargo Center, a panel discussion, dinner, and attending a game against the Chicago Bulls.
The panel discussion, moderated by Labor & Employment Practice Shareholder Shira R. Yoshor, featured the 76ers Chief Revenue Officer Katie O’Reilly; Chief Operating Officer Lara Price; and Vice President of Global Strategy, Partnership, and Development Sunshine Rogers. Covering a range of topics, the interactive discussion delved into starting careers in the sports world and navigating a male-dominated industry, through to advice for young women starting careers in the industry

GTWI, a firmwide women’s affinity group, is dedicated to the advancement of women attorneys.

The outstanding women of the Philadelphia 76ers are a force,” Yoshor said. “Being able to hear their perspectives and how they got to the heights of their careers with the support of mentors was really inspiring. Natali, based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania with broad litigation experience in criminal and civil cases. She represents corporations and individuals in federal and state criminal cases, complex white-collar defense matters, internal investigations, as well as civil litigation and investigations involving the defense of qui tam/False Claims Act complaints and products liability cases.
Yoshor, also in the Philadelphia office, has experience in complex commercial litigation, with a focus on labor and employment matters. She advises and counsels employers on workplace issues, drafts employment agreements, handbooks and policies, and investigates and litigates discrimination, retaliation and other employment claims.
