GT is hosting an online seminar focusing on the proposed EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) Regulation on April 26. If and when adopted, CBAM introduces a tariff on carbon-intensive products imported into the EU, including cement, electricity, fertilizers, hydrogen, plastics, and metals such as iron, steel and aluminum. All companies dealing with these imported goods will be – directly or indirectly – impacted by CBAM. Topics include: Introduction to CBAM; Role of the Authorized Declarant; Emissions Calculations; and Tradability.
