WARSAW –12 July 2019 – Lawyers from the Greenberg Traurig Warsaw office advised Madison International Realty and Ghelamco on the closing of the sale of the entire Warsaw Spire A office building. The value of the transaction was EUR 386 million.
The preliminary sale purchase agreement with Immofinanz was signed on June 14, 2019. The transaction was subject to customary anti-trust approval.
The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Partner Radomił Charzyński, supported by Senior Associate Kamil Majewski and Associates: Michał Niećko and Karolina Woronko-Kawa.
“This transaction is indicative of the trust that our returning clients have in Greenberg Traurig. In 2019 alone, we have advised Ghelamco on the sale of all shares in the company owning the Wronia 31 office building in Warsaw, and Madison International Realty on the acquisition of a majority stake in Capital Park,” said Jolanta Nowakowska-Zimoch, Partner and Head of the Real Estate Group at the Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig.
Warsaw Spire A, with 49 floors in a 220-meter tower, is currently the tallest office building in Warsaw.
