Cyrus Abbassi has a national practice focused on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions across a wide range of industries with particular depth in health care and business services. His clients include private equity funds, SBIC and structured funds, credit funds, portfolio companies, family offices, independent sponsors, entrepreneurs, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, management services organizations, behavioral health providers, and veterinary platforms, among others. As lead counsel, Cyrus has advised his clients through transactions in the middle market up to multibillion-dollar exits. 

Understanding the needs of his clients, Cyrus brings a creative approach to deal structuring and execution. Specifically, in health care, accounting, legal services and other professional services fields, Cyrus develops alignment structures as between companies and professionals. He is a regular practitioner in the area of management services organizations across regulated professions, helping clients navigate the intersection between corporate goals and regulatory requirements. 

As it relates to health care, Cyrus regularly works on transactions involving ambulatory surgery centers, facility joint ventures, various physician practice specialties including cardiology, orthopedic surgery, pain management, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and primary care as well as transactions relating to home health, hospice, autism therapy (ABA), revenue cycle management, staffing services and veterinary medicine. 

Cyrus writes and speaks regularly on topics relating to mergers and acquisitions in health care and other professional services industries.
