He has represented individuals and corporations in all stages of criminal and civil investigations-from the issuance of subpoenas through trial and appellate proceedings. Representative engagements have involved defending individuals against allegations of wire fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, anti-competitive conduct, and violations of federal election statutes. Michael has also advised targets of investigations pursued by various offices of inspectors general including those of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Department of Treasury, and the Department of Justice.
