Michael Pusateri's practice is centered on government investigations, white collar criminal defense, and complex civil litigation. He has represented individuals and corporations in all stages of criminal and civil investigations-from the issuance of subpoenas through trial and appellate proceedings. Representative engagements have involved defending individuals against allegations of wire fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, anti-competitive conduct, and violations of federal election statutes. Michael has also advised targets of investigations pursued by various offices of inspectors general including those of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the Department of Treasury, and the Department of Justice. Many of these highly sensitive matters have been resolved favorably for the clients and without publicity.
