Devora Snyder-Shefer focuses her practice on providing emerging companies across industry sectors with customized legal counsel that speaks to each company’s unique needs and interests.

In particular, Devora utilizes her many years of experience supporting clients on a variety of transactional and regulatory matters and leverages the wide-ranging GT platform to provide A-to-Z support for her clients' technology, commercial, corporate, financial, and real estate matters.

Within this framework, Devora counsels both emerging and established companies across the globe, offering clients practical and efficient legal counsel, while striving to manage costs and risks via business-friendly strategies. Devora advises clients on technology and commercial contracts, data privacy and protection and cybersecurity, U.S. corporate formation and company build-out, financial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Devora regularly assists clients in assessing and structuring privacy programs to ensure relevant compliance with the GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other U.S. and international privacy laws. Devora has drafted website terms of use and eCommerce agreements for major international brands and startup companies alike.

In the technology space, Devora has provided guidance on software licensing, SaaS agreements, and emerging technologies, while working with clients to modernize commercial contracting processes and privacy practices, enabling in-house attorneys to function more efficiently and conserve resources.

In addition, Devora is a leader in the GT Women's Initative in the EU/EMEA Region, and is dedicated to providing pro bono legal counsel to underrepresented groups in Israel and around the world.

  • Represented Israeli investor group in joint venture dispute with local operator and in CMBS loan workout of a $50 million portfolio of U.S. multifamily properties.
  • Represented Migdal Insurance Company and a consortium of Israeli pension funds in a EUR 200 million joint venture to acquire an office complex in Frankfurt, Germany.
  • Represented Future Media Group in its Acquisition of W Magazine from Condé Nast (media coverage)
  • Represented Canon in their acquisition of Israeli video analysis company BriefCam (media coverage)
  • Represented Israeli pension fund in a purchasing syndicate that acquired the Old Post Office Building in Chicago, IL.
  • Represented a U.S. real estate developer in $100 million acquisition of Chicago office building and joint venture with Israeli pension fund.
  • Represented a leading Israeli investment house in an acquisition of North Carolina and Georgia Multifamily portfolio.
  • Represented a prominent Israeli insurance company in sale of Berlin office building.
  • Represented Amadeus IT Group, S.A. in an M&A transaction spanning Israel, Europe and the U.S.
  • Represented Cowen and Company as underwriters’ counsel in a confidentially marketed public offering (CMPO) of ordinary shares of SuperCom Ltd., an Israeli technology company traded on Nasdaq, with proceeds of approximately $30 million.
