TALLAHASSEE – March 21, 2022 – Maribel N. Nicholson-Choice, an Environmental Practice shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., was recognized as a 2022 “Woman on the Move” by ONYX magazine.
For the sixth consecutive year, ONYX recognized Florida's most influential black women in business, education, government, media, and non-profit organizations. The “Women on the Move” award is presented to trailblazers who are leading major businesses to succeed on national and international levels, according to the magazine. The award was presented to Nicholson-Choice during a ceremony on March 18 at The Alford Inn in Winter Park, FL.

Based in the firm’s Tallahassee office, Nicholson-Choice has 30 years of government, environmental, land use, brownfields, and construction legal experience, with an emphasis in negotiating and resolving complex environmental permitting, due diligence, and litigation matters for real estate, commercial foreclosures, bankruptcy cases, environmental investigations, remediation projects, and brownfields development. She helps clients evaluate risks and costs associated with potential environmental clean-up and third-party liability, as well as securing regulatory approvals for complex contamination remediation projects.
