NEW YORK – Oct. 23, 2026 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented SL Green Realty Corp. (NYSE: SLG), Manhattan’s largest office landlord, and its partner, a U.S. affiliate of Mori Trust Co., Ltd, in connection with the $2 billion refinancing of 245 Park Avenue, a Class A office tower in Midtown Manhattan.
The deal closed Oct. 14 and marks a major financing milestone for the fully leased tower, which is nearing completion of a comprehensive redevelopment.
“SL Green and Mori Trust’s reimagining of 245 Park Avenue has elevated the building into a true flagship on Park Avenue, and the scale and terms of this financing underscore lenders’ regard for both the asset and SL Green’s stewardship of it,” New York Real Estate Practice Co-Chair Adam M. Goldstein said. “We were pleased to help SL Green, a longstanding client, and its partner execute a complex financing that sets this tower up for continued long-term success.”
The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Goldstein, with additional support from Associates Zachary E. Schelberg and Theresa “Tessa” Gulley, as well as Paralegal Supervisor Tana Brkani.
The deal is the latest in a series of transactions Greenberg Traurig has advised on for longstanding client SL Green, including the recent sale of 10 East 53rd Street in Midtown East.
